DEEP Community is a industry network, consisting of oilcompanies,  research institutions, universities and contractors, aiming to run projects and processes enhancing growth and development within the subsea- and downhole industry in Norway.

The network was founded  in 2000 by 13 companies  following an initiative from ARNE - Arena for Regional Business Developemnt and Entrepreneurship - and has since grown to a membership level of around 30.

Typical network activities are projects - DEEP Simulation (see under Projects) - technology sessions for members sponsored by the oilcompanies and the development of this communication and information site on the web.
